Travel Vaccinations

If you're planning to travel outside the UK, you may need to be vaccinated against some of the serious diseases found in other parts of the world.

Travel health advice and information can be found at NaTHNaC - Country List

You will need to contact the surgery and complete a travel form (for each person travelling).  Nurse will review the information provided and prescribe vaccines as needed and will inform you via the text messaging service.  You will then need to make an appointment with nurse for administration and will be requested to collect the vaccines from pharmacy on the way to the appointment.

It is advisable to have your vaccinations at least six weeks before travel and this is particularly important if you have not had travel vaccinations previously.

Travel forms can be downloaded here
